 As with any standard telenovela, it must come to an end and this romance finished much quicker than any of US could've imagined. So much for walks on the beach, margaritas by moonlight and other Mexican delights! Susie Sad Eyes played her cards a little too quickly and came up busted. The Wrestlers circled Susie Sad Eyes with less than honourable intentions and I couldn't help but think that maybe she deserved a little payback. Things always worked out for her and maybe just this once, they wouldn't.

HE was there and watched it all unfold. HE preached " You should know better. Sisters look after each other no matter what happens. If you couldn't count on your family, who could you count on?"
I snarled on the inside and smiled as sweetly as I could without letting the bile rising up as I replied "Of course, Senor M, you are right. I should save my sister, perhaps even offer myself up in return?"
FAT CHANCE!

"You'll just have to trust me. She'll be better off without us.... and well I think we could all use a little ME time. You'll see, it will all be okay."

'WE' went to Mexico in November 2012 and hung out in Tulum for a week or so. Took so many photos that it's a bit overwhelming and not really sure where to start. One of my fave things was when 'WE'  bought a small bag of Mexican Wrestlers and took them to the beach for the day.

I bet you're wondering where 'WE' come into play. Well, to be honest Susie Sad Eyes 1 had already taken up with one of the wrestlers  - gawd!  Susie Sleaze is more like it. Not to be outdone by the other, Susie Sad Eyes 2 quickly followed her lead. Girls! Smarten up! Vacay love affairs always end in epic fails.

And then there were three. It seems that women are just better in threes. At least in all things surreal or supernatural. The Three Witches or Wyrd Sisters from  Macbeth, the Gorgons (the three sisters with snakes for hair), the Witches of Eastwick and the beloved Halliwell Sisters from Charmed to name a few.

I will overcome!

In my dreams, I am not just a doll with immovable legs and useless hands. I can travel the world over and do whatever I please. There are no barriers and dolls are allowed wherever they want without fear of judgement or reprimand. I am Susie Sad Eyes and I will overcome!

Susie Sad Eyes the Second

WE ordered Susie Sad Eyes the Second ( aka SSE la segunda) (MIB) to see if  Susie Sad Eyes the First (aka SSE la primera) was really a SSE or a replica. Turns out they're both authentic. I was happy to receive the second doll although the whole experience turned out to be a bit traumatizing due to her MIB packaging more resemblant of a bad mafia hit. Left shoe lost in transit. *sigh*
